If you prefer doing to viewing, you can make your own souvenir in our print shop or get wet using our interactive water pumps.</p>

<h3>Education</h3>
<p>The museum welcomes groups from schools and colleges during the week when we are closed to the public.  We do not have an education officer but a team of  knowledgeable volunteers are on hand to help you plan your visit and act as guides on the day.</p>
<p>Teachers have used visits to the museum to support a range of topics including  the Victorians, the industrial revolution and  the environment as well as providing inspiration for art and design students and creative writing projects.</p>
<p>We are always happy to discuss your requirements.  For an informal discussion leave a message on our answering machine and we’ll ring you back.</p>
<p>Admission charge for schools and colleges:</p>
<ul>
<li>£2 per student</li>
<li>Accompanying adults visit for free</li>
</ul>
<p>A risk assessment for school visits is available on request.</p>
<h3>Adult Groups</h3>
<p>We can provide guided tours of the museum for adult groups and our volunteers are also able to visit your society to give an illustrated talk about the museum. Service subject to volunteer availability.  Prices on request.</p>
